I first started learning to play at about the age of 15, but didn't take it too seriously till I was in my early 20’s. I learnt my drumming in Wollongong, but also studied in Sydney and London. I came through the music ranks learning and playing all types of music genre, ranging from rock and roll, country jazz, big band, musicals etc.

My musical experiences included – playing in rock, country and jazz bands, club cabarets, musical, working with TV and recording artists. I considered I gained my valuable reading experience working with these artist, most were from Sydney and Melbourne, and a few International acts.

My Musical theatre experiences including providing the drums and percussion for shows such as – Les Miserable’, Chicago, West Side Story, Sweet Charity and many others. All these shows were done with the Wollongong Guild Theatre and the Arcadian theatre group.

From this background I was able to branch fully professionally into teach drums at my own studio and at a few of the local high and public schools. I am also currently working with my local band ‘PULP FRICTION’ doing all types of music for clubs, restaraunts and other functions. I am also involved with DALE HOOPERS JOHNNY CASH tribute show, doing shows in Sydney, Canberra, Wollongong and other country areas. I make myself available as a freelance drummer, doing Club concerts, jazz gigs etc.

Presently as far as teaching is concerned I work everyday of the week at my home studio in Bulli, New South Wales and doing private tuition at students homes, plus teaching at Balgownie Public School and Corrimal High School
