I expect all my students to practice on a regular basis. The harder they practice, the harder I will push them to their full potential. All students should come to their tuition with a positive outlook and want to enjoy their lesson. They need to bring their drum sticks and tuition books at all times, though we can work without them if they forget. I like to see them leave the lesson inspired and look forward to practicing any new exercise I give them.

Most of all I like them to be able to inspire me and give me satisfaction with their development.

I like to promote the art of drumming to my students, giving them the satisfaction of developing their potential, esteem and sometimes their egos. I enjoy passing on that drumming is a great way expressing oneself, requiring a lot of determination, discipline and a lot of dedication.

Drumming, as with other musical instruments can bring out in a student things they were unaware was possible, such as being able to talk and play in front of an audience at a very young age, instilling in them a lot of confidence which will assist them as they grow into adults.

I pass the notions that drumming can just be fun, something you can do in your own spare times, at home, in your garage, just with a few friends. But for the prospective student who wants to become a semi or professional drummer I am able to develop them as far as they want to go.
